Global Transaction Services (GTS) comprises of Cash & Trade, Securities Services and Fiduciary Services. In an increasingly borderless world marked by burgeoning trade flow, expertise in trade finance services is an invaluable asset. With cash the lifeblood of every company, so too, is a good understanding of how to manage these cashflows. Trade Finance, together with Cash Management, is the mainstay of GTS, and is extended to SME and corporate clients for their local and cross-border financial transaction needs.
Experience: 2 Years (+/- 1) in a Bank / Corporate Finance role. Experience in Trade Preferred, not mandatory
Background: From a Tier 1 / 2 B-School (2018/1+/20 Batch)

Job Responsibilities: The candidate will be a part of the Open Account Trade Product team and will work with the Open Account Product Head in the following areas:
• Solutioning: Working with Sales Managers in understanding client requirements and suggesting Working Capital Solutions as offered by the Bank. Being structured products customization will be needed, candidate must have solution-oriented approach while balancing the operational and risk parameters. May have to travel once a month or more to meet clients
• Technology: Candidate will need to familiarize himself / herself with the Bank’s proprietary platforms. The services, capabilities and constraints of the platforms will be a key input to the solutions we can offer to clients
• Legal Interaction: As solutioning is mostly bespoke, a significant part of the job will be working with Internal and external legal firms to create documentation for deals. Candidate will have to provide clear inputs on the parameters of the program to ensure the document follows the contours of the solution
• Credit & Compliance: Candidate will have to work with the Relationship Manager to clear business proposals with Credit and Compliance as need may be. Candidate will need to learn / show willingness to immerse himself / herself into the details on the regulatory framework, credit guardrails such that they are subject matter experts whose advice can be relied on
• Controls: Candidate will work with the Operations and Middle Office team to ensure that Operational controls for the Open Account Trade products. Candidate will have to exercise regular oversight and checks to ensure Operational risks are being managed properly
