Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
Job Purpose
• To implement and manage all Enterprise Systems for Retail Banking covering Liabilities, and Digital Banking. Ensure ongoing maintenance, change and upgrades as per process laid down. Ensure healthy relationships with vendors, software developers to have timely production and accurate solutions so that technology applications are used & supported to its fullest extent. Coordinate with regional application development & support teams for regional implementations. Responsible for overall quality, stability, and performance of the system.
• Transform requirements into architecture and blueprint for the solution being created.
• Document and manage how DBS applications are poised to work together with eco partner's products/SDK/Services/APIs etc.
Key Accountabilities
Fulfil all responsibilities in relation to:
• Liaising with various System Owners, Development & Delivery Teams, Business, Operations, Legal & Compliance, Information Security, etc stakeholders and Internal Governance bodies to ensure they agree with the proposed architecture & solution design
• Resolving technical issues/gaps identified at any stage of application SDLC or BAU
• Ensuring non-functional aspect like high availability, scalability, security, performance, resiliency, cloud readiness, instrumentation & monitoring etc of eco partner integration.
Job Duties & responsibilities
Business Engagement and Ownership
➢ Act as visionary and strategist for integrating various ecosystem partners with DBS for Liabilities, Channels and Digital Banking.
➢ Survey market landscape for solution/application insights, direction, vendors, and methods
➢ Build a close rapport with users, vendors to ensure completion of projects and issues as per agreed plan.
➢ Closely coordinate with all user departments in understanding their software application needs and manage expectations
Early Ideation
➢ Help business development life cycle by serving as an Ecosystem Partner Integration SME to help identify and qualify business development opportunities
➢ Lead / participate in product/vendor selection process and fit gap analysis
Methodology and Quality Assurance
➢ Lead development of formalized integration methodologies
➢ Contribute to a repository for solution/application artifacts
➢ Interface and coordinate tasks with internal and external technical resources.
Collaborates with Project Managers and technical staff to provision estimates,
develop overall integration plan.
➢ Oversee aspects of project life cycle, from initial kick-off through requirements analysis, design, test, and implementation phases for projects within the solution/application area
Guiding Applications Operations
➢ Responsible for the change in Ecosystem Partner Integration approach/resiliency mechanism for relevant applications to a total replacement at the end of their technology or functionality lifecycle.
➢ Maintain and monitor all aspects of the application integration.
➢ Coordinate with IT infrastructure teams for deriving their support for conducting various projects
➢ Understand the system process flow of the primary business processes. It gives a clear picture of the functionality map and the applications footprint of various applications across the map.
➢ To ensure compliance within DBS Group
➢ Handling L1 escalations.
➢ Participate and ensure proposal, estimation and scope for a project is completed.
➢ Ensuring Timeline, planning, monitoring, and controlling for project delivery.
➢ Schedule assignments. Monitor, review and periodically report project status.
Required Experience
• 7+ years of experience in Retails Banking Technology domain (Savings/TD/Investments /Operations Tech)
• Digital Banking and Onboarding (CDD/KYC/API/Partnership) management experience
• Experience in Project Management.
• Scrum and Agile Implementations.
• Wide knowledge of current and future trends in business and technology environment
Education / Preferred Qualifications
Minimum Qualification – BE – Electronics / Computer engg
