Job description, work day and responsibilities
"Have 5-10 years of Software Development & Design work experience implementing integration projects
Have 5+ years of experience using Apigee API Gateway in Design, develop, configure, and troubleshoot APIs using APIGEE
Apigee Lead should have both business as well as technical skills to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate functional and non-functional requirements into integration interfaces and implementations.
Expert level experience with SOAP and REST web service RAML Swagger open API development and SOA APIs ensuring Strong knowledge of Apigee component architecture
Experience in architectural concepts for Apigee implementations including encryption, security, logging, throttling, scalability and clustering
Designing, prototyping, and delivering APIs, integration and applications in varied deployment models (cloud-based, on-premise or hybrid), to respond to client needs for cost-efficiency, competitive offering, and agility to respond to new business opportunities.
Provide architecture, analysis, build, and testing for Apigee integrations.
Provide technical delivery for Apigee and API Management integration projects.
Serving as an API and integration evangelist, acting as a trusted advisor in guiding all sizes towards the realization of the business outcome by leveraging the application of an API-led strategy using APIGEE technology.
Document design decisions and integrations resulting from new designs, system changes, or upgrades.
Participate in SIT, end to end, and unit testing efforts in cooperation with overall Testing coordinator.
Strong client facing ability with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Hold at least 1 active APIGEE Certification
Deep knowledge of working with microservices architecture and API Strategy development
Deep Knowledge with different APIGEE offerings
Experienced with design patterns & best practices used with APIGEE integrations
Experience with message queue design patterns
Experience in designing the Developer Portal & Monetization set up.
Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently
