Job Description
This role is responsible for fault management/break-fix support and technology insertion for various platforms supporting key Mobility applications in a cloud environment. Candidates will use various change & trouble ticket reporting systems, network dashboards, and other KPI monitoring tools to verify network/application health and performance in both proactive and reactive capacities. Candidate is responsible for the diagnosis/investigation of network issues, communication & coordination of further troubleshooting, problem mitigation and service restoral, as well as longer term root cause analysis and action item follow up. The candidate should be able to solve moderately complex issues independently and work with other application or network teams to diagnose issues or escalate to higher tiers of support/vendors as necessary. The candidate is responsible for partnering with other teams within AT&T, including labs, network planning & engineering, and advanced technical support to create and verify process documentation, scripts, test procedures, and guidelines for new technology insertion and management. The candidate will also perform tech insertion work in a cloud (Azure) environment and verify the performance of new systems. The candidate requires an understanding the OS layer stack, troubleshooting user interfaces, some desktop support or similar technical support skills and be able to work in a 24x7 operations environment.
