2+ years of experience in a welding role, preferably in a specialty field
Proficiency in operating welding machinery, tools, and related equipment
Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints, schematics, and shop drawings
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Physical stamina and ability to work in varying conditions (e.g., heat, confined spaces, heights)

Responsibilities
Expand your horizons with travel across the world’s biggest route network
Perform advanced welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick, or Flux-Core) to join and repair a variety of metals and alloys
Experience with oxyacetylene cutting and brazing techniques, including torch setup, adjustment and safety practices
Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements
Prepare materials by cleaning, cutting, and grinding metals to ensure proper fit and alignment
Inspect completed welds to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards
Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition
Collaborate with engineers, fabricators, and other team members to troubleshoot issues and recommend improvements
Adhere to all safety guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices
Maintain accurate records of materials used, work performed, and time spent on each project
Work may involve exposure to loud noises, fumes, and hot or cold temperatures
Must be able to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50 lbs.) regularly
