SO… WHAT DOES IS THIS CADETSHIP INVOLVE?
Gain hands on experience as a speech pathology student, and be supported all the way through to your new grad years!
With guidance from clinician and appropriate professional development training, deliver quality therapies to children and families one-on-one or in a group setting
Assist with documentation of service provision in client records
Attend and participate in services and professional development training
Video record and communicate client progress to clinician
Maintain confidentiality in line with Code of Conduct and Privacy Policies
ABOUT THE GERMINATOR PROGRAM
This is a growth pathway that is supported, guided and structured to foster your clinical skills from student to early career speech pathologist!
o Seed year (student years) – 1st-3rd year student with 1-2 day commitment
o Sprouting year – 4th year student with 2-3 day commitment
o Budding year – 1st year new grad with full time commitment
o Blossoming year – 2nd year clinician with full time commitment
Over your Sprouting to Blossoming years, you will receive at least 6 professional development certifications.
THE NITTY GRITTY REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
o Currently studying a Bachelor/Masters of Speech Pathology (all years welcome to apply)
Other
o Experience working with children is highly regarded
o Positive Blue Card
o Exemption Yellow Card
o Police Check & Legal to work in Australia

Pay: $32.00 – $48.00 per hour
