Job Description
At Enhanced Ability Behaviour Support, we are currently seeking independent Speech Therapists with a minimum of one year of experience. You don’t need to bring a caseload with you. However, if you do, we welcome it and will fully support the onboarding process to ensure participants have genuine choice and control.
At this time, we are only engaging contractors. This is not an employed position.
The Culture
You will be part of a small, connected and supportive team. We trust you to work with autonomy and purpose, and we'll be here to guide and support you when needed.
Remote work isn’t a benefit—it’s how we work. You have the freedom to work from wherever suits you, with the trust, flexibility, and support to build your days around your life, not the other way around.
We don’t use KPIs to measure your worth or manage your day. But we do ask that about 80% of your agreed hours be spent on billable work. It keeps things sustainable for you and consistent for the people you support.
You’ll be backed by a team that handles intake, admin, and all the behind-the-scenes tasks, so you’re free to focus on client work.
You’ll be backed by our NDIS registration and compliance processes, giving you the security and peace of mind to focus on what matters—our participants.
The Opportunity
As a Speech Therapist, you will support NDIS participants to build independence, capacity, and functional skills to achieve their goals. This includes assessments, intervention, reporting, and collaboration with participants, families, and other providers.
Skills & Experience Required
Previous experience as a Speech Therapist within the NDIS (minimum 1 year).
Strong assessment, clinical reasoning, and report-writing skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
You’ll Also Need:
100 points of identification.
Valid driver’s license and a comprehensively insured motor vehicle.
Full Australian working rights.
An Australian Business Number (ABN).
Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check.
Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance.
Current SPA registration as an Occupational Therapist
What We Offer

Flexibility: Work from home and set your own schedule.
No KPIs: Our priority is the success of our clients—your focus should be on them.
Comprehensive support: We provide the systems and NDIS registration so you can focus on building your client base and delivering exceptional service.
Please note: This role is an Independent Contractor position. You will manage your own superannuation, taxes, expenses, and provide your own equipment (computer, phone, etc.). Employee option will potentially be considered.
If you believe you are the right fit for this position, apply today with your resume and a cover letter.
We look forward to receiving your application!
