The Opportunity
We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Speech Therapy Assistant to join our team. You’ll work under the supervision of a qualified Speech Pathologist to deliver effective and engaging therapy for NDIS clients, helping them build essential communication and life skills.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct therapy sessions based on therapy plans.
Assist with implementing evidence-based literacy, speech, and communication programs.
Prepare therapy resources to ensure engaging and impactful sessions.
Collaborate with families and caregivers to promote skill development in everyday settings.
Record and report client progress
Travel to homes, schools, or community settings as required.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking someone with a passion for working with individuals with disabilities and a commitment to delivering exceptional care.
Essential Criteria
Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (Speech Pathology) or equivalent qualification.
Currently studying Speech Pathology (3rd/4th-year undergraduate or 2nd-year Master’s students encouraged to apply).
Experience working with individuals with disabilities, particularly children.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients, families, and team members.
Current Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance.

Job Type: Subcontract
Pay: $60.00 – $65.00 per hour
