Job Role
• Responsible for meeting overall delivery schedules and ensuring the delivered solution meets the technical specifications and design requirements
• Co-ordinate with the teams to resolve issues (thru clarification, data fixes and program fixes following required process) in development & test environments
• Good verbal and written communication skills

Key Responsibilities
• Understand user requirements and build solution architecture and be able to break it into high level and low-level design.
• Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications and futuristic aspect.
• Technically hands on in software projects through all stages of the life cycle, including responsibility towards understanding and capturing requirements, design, development and acceptance testing.
• Debugging and resolving technical problems that arise.
• Sound knowledge on DevOps mechanisms and tools such as: Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible.
• Perform coding / code review in line with existing architecture boundaries, use best practices and coding standards.

• Good Understanding of the Scrum framework (roles, artefacts and Ceremonies). Specifically, an understanding of the Scrum Team member role and underlying values of Scrum and Agile principles is Must for this position.
• Participate and Facilitates all the Agile ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Refinement, Retrospective, Sprint Review / Demo.
• Ability to accept and resolve team indicated impediments to delivery and work within the organization to remove these impediments efficiently.

• Ability to manage and track project risks from identification to closure and help the team to mitigate the risks using acceptable risk mitigation strategies.

• Good Understanding of product planning concepts including personas, minimal viable and minimal marketable product, product visioning and release roadmaps.
• Partners closely with the Programs / Projects lead to ensure that the delivery organization is synchronized with the Programs and Projects objectives.
• Serving as a liaison to communicate information regarding changes, milestones reached, and other pertinent information.
• Extensive change and programme management experience, ideally gained in a software / infrastructure development environment using Agile ways of Working.

• Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group's Values and Code of Conduct.
• Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. Our Ideal Candidate
10 years of relevant experience with hands on technology, Java / J2EE / Oracle / Ember / Hibernate / Webservices / JSON API.
• Developer Background preferable Java EE-based with JBoss EAP 6.x, 7.x.
• Self-starter, capable of working without direction and able to deliver projects from scratch.
• Strong leader that can implement Agile / lean practices across Projects.
• Strong knowledge of Linux / UNIX and TCP / IP - must understand strace and tcpdump output.

• Administration, installation, basic commands, trouble shooting and performance management, partitioning, NFS / NAS mount with netgroups and security.

• Load Balancers, DNS, FQDN, SFTP, SSL / TLS and security
