Sponsorship Sales Manager - Large Scale Flagship B2B Tech Event

Central London Office - Hybrid Working + Travel

Salary up to £50,000 + Uncapped Commission + Benefits

Full time, permanent position

Jackson Barnes Recruitment is delighted to partner with this highly successful b2b events company that delivers valued business events around the world. To support their live events expansion they are recruiting an additional experienced Sponsorship Sales Manager to join their London based team and sell sponsorship solutions for a huge London Tech Event.

The Job - Sponsorship Sales Manager
• This role will focus on generating sponsorship & exhibition revenue for a flagship UK based Tech event. The event attracts over 10K attendees who have the opportunity to attend a number of the 20+ conference stages and listen to hundreds of speakers over 2 days. The exhibition floor is packed with hundreds of big names and an impressive selection of innovative start-up companies. The event has lots of networking opportunities, awards, pitches, parties and much more.
• You will prospect and qualify new sales leads and grow and manage accounts
• Schedule meetings and presentations with prospects, using sales techniques to understand how the sponsorship products align with their needs
• Track all sales activities in the company CRM system, updating regularly
• Develop strong, ongoing relationships with prospects and clients
• Maintain a well-developed pipeline of prospects
• Meet and/or exceed your sales target
• Coordinate with other team members and departments to optimise the sales effort
• Attend your event and other relevant industry events - overseas travel required

Who are we looking for?
• For this position, it is essential you have direct experience in B2B Conference Sponsorship Sales and can demonstrate a successful track record of achieving targets
• Ability to meet your personal revenue targets independently and work within a collaborative sales team
• Enthused to work on existing and launch events
• Excellent communication skills
• Confident and outgoing personality
• Good with Technology / CRM /Social Media
• Ambitious and driven
• Good time management
• Able to handle rejection and move forward positively
• Able to travel to events and meetings when required
