Sports development coordinator
Location: Auckland
Employment type: Full time and Permanent (guaranteed 30 hours /per week Mon to Sunday in roster)
Our pay: $26-$30 per hour
Our Football Academy established in February 2026, is the first Chinese-founded youth professional football training institute, aimed to promote the healthy development of Kiwi kids aged 5 to 11.
We are now looking for a Sports development coordinator to join in our team. The ideal candidate should be self-driven and enthusiastic for this job.
Skills and experience needed:
At least 2 years of working experience in similar roles, or
A relevant NZ Level 4 qualification
Job duties & Responsibilities:
Mentoring, training, and guiding football players by evaluating their performances and enhancing their capabilities.
Developing and executing game tactics, designing play strategies, and assessing the advancement of the game.
Inspiring football players and managing their training sessions.
Recruiting football players and additional coaching personnel.
Organizing registrations for competitive sporting events.
Promoting the advancement of sports and skills while supervising youth participation in football activities.
Supervising athletic events to ensure adherence to regulations.
Coordinating and managing sports programs while collaborating with other officials to interpret and enforce rules and policies related to sports.
