Our client, a prominent sports management company based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, IN , is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sports Event Manager to oversee the planning and execution of various sporting events. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sports, exceptional organizational skills, and a proven ability to manage all aspects of event logistics, budgeting, and promotion. You will be responsible for coordinating with athletes, sponsors, vendors, and venue staff to ensure seamless event operations. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills to manage diverse stakeholders. Responsibilities include conceptualizing event themes and formats, developing detailed event plans and timelines, managing event budgets and tracking expenditures, securing sponsorships and partnerships, coordinating venue logistics and setup, overseeing event staff and volunteers, developing and implementing marketing and promotional strategies, and ensuring participant and spectator satisfaction. The successful applicant will have a Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field, coupled with at least 5 years of experience in event management, preferably within the sports industry. Knowledge of various sports disciplines and event safety regulations is crucial.
