Sports Teacher

Full Job Description

Sarvodaya Public School, Bareli is looking candidates for a sports teacher who is responsible for teaching physical education and coaching various sports to students of all ages.

Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver physical education lessons and activities that promote physical fitness, coordination, teamwork, and sportsmanship to students of all ages

Plan and organize sports teams, practices, and competitions in a variety of sports, such as basketball, football, soccer, volleyball, track and field, and more

Teach and enforce rules and regulations of each sport to ensure safety and fair play among students

Assess and evaluate student progress and performance through various methods, such as skill tests, written exams, and observations

Provide feedback to students and parents on progress and areas for improvement

Maintain sports equipment and facilities to ensure safety and proper use

Collaborate with other teachers, coaches, and administrators to promote a positive school culture and student success

Participate in professional development activities to stay up-to-date with new teaching and coaching methods, technologies, and research in the field

Requirements:

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Physical Education.

Teaching certification or licensure, which typically involves completing a teacher preparation program and passing an exam

Strong knowledge of various sports, physical fitness, and effective teaching and coaching strategies and methods

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and inspire students of all ages and backgrounds

Ability to manage classroom behavior and create a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment

Flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to learn and grow as a teacher and coach

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹10,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
