Role
As a Sports Writer at Quidich Innovation Labs, you will embark on an exciting journey in the world of sports technology and play a vital role in helping the brand connect with global audiences through communication and PR. We are looking for a talented writer who is excited about sports and has previous experience covering content on major international sports tournaments in leading media and publishing companies. In this role, you will work closely with other teams to brainstorm ideas, create concepts, and develop messaging for the brand’s digital touch points (website and social media) and work on building in-house content for newsletters, videos and proposals.
Responsibilities
• Developing content strategy tailored to short- and long-term marketing goals
• Building an editorial calendar for all social media channels
• Create and publish press releases, blog articles, and short content/copy for social media
• Brainstorm and propose new content initiatives to increase engagement and reach
• Collaborate with business development, strategy and other teams for editing, proofreading and improving pitch decks, proposals and website content
• Completing writing projects, meeting deadlines and following content requirements in terms of style and project specifications
Required Skills and Competencies
• Previous experience in building sports content for broadcasters or publishing houses
• Previous background as a copywriter
• Knowledge of digital content strategy and creation of editorial calendar
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
• Strong research skills, excellent time-management and organizational skills
• BSc/BA in marketing, English, journalism or related field

• Degree/Masters in sports management

Salary: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
