The Role
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Automotive Paint Sprayer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality paint finishes and ensuring vehicles meet professional refinishing standards.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting (sanding, masking, priming)
Mix and match paint colours to manufacturer specifications
Apply paint using spray equipment with precision and consistency
Carry out blending and finishing to achieve a seamless result
Inspect completed work to ensure high-quality standards
Maintain spray booths and equipment in clean, safe working condition
Requirements
Minimum 3 years’ experience as an automotive paint sprayer OR Relevant NZ qualification: New Zealand Certificate in Automotive Refinishing (or equivalent)
Familiar with PPG & Maxytone
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good understanding of workplace health & safety practices (Advantageous)
Ability to speak multiple languages (helpful for customer communication)
Experience with modern paint systems and high-end finishes
What We Offer
Competitive pay: $35 – $40 per hour
Guaranteed 30 - 55 hours per week
