Our core business involves engineering, manufacturing, supplying, and installing screw piles, including solar piling, mine site camp development (such as transportable accommodation and complex buildings), and drilling services.
We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Spray Painter/Blaster to join our growing team. This hands-on role involves surface preparation, abrasive blasting, coating application, and final preparation of steel components for delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Perform abrasive blasting and laser steel cleaning to prepare surfaces for painting and coating.
Mix, prepare, and apply epoxy paints and other coating systems to specified standards.
Operate and maintain spray painting, blasting, and cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
Conduct quality checks to ensure coating and surface finishes meet project specifications.
Prepare and load steel for transportation and dispatch, ensuring all components are secured and protected.
Work collaboratively with team members to meet production schedules and maintain high-quality outcomes.
Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised work environment.
About You
Proven experience as a spray painter and/or blaster (industrial, marine, or steel fabrication experience highly regarded).
Knowledge of paint systems, including epoxy coatings, surface preparation, and application techniques.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Current driver’s licence and reliable transport.
Relevant tickets or certifications such as Confined Space, Working at Heights, or abrasive blasting qualifications.
