Description:
• The Enterprise Software Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for the following tasks:
• Troubleshooting, finding, and reporting issues, bugs, and glitches of VENZA’s platforms.
• Engage with the customer success team, development team, and product manager to ideate and create scalable software solutions.
• Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems.
• Gather and document requirements to design client-side and server-side architecture.
• Develop and implement comprehensive test plans, test cases, and strategies for various software products to ensure software quality and that all business requirements have been met.
• Develop testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability.
• Develop or specify standards, methods, or procedures to determine product quality or release readiness and document them to ensure replicability and compliance with standards.
• Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure that software is being developed according to industry best practices and quality standards.
• Test the performance and scalability of software products to ensure responsiveness and efficiency under different workloads. Use specialized tools to simulate high user loads and analyze performance metrics.
• Test mobile responsiveness on different devices, operating systems, and networks to ensure that they work as expected.
• Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screen, or content.
• Identify and report security vulnerabilities and work with developers to implement security fixes.
• Document and report defects found during testing and work with the development team to ensure they are resolved.
• Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes.
• Coordinate user or third-party acceptance tests, evaluate or diagnose problems, and recommend possible solutions.
• Participate in release management to ensure that software is released to production with the highest quality possible.
• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks to optimize the testing process.
• Conduct post-release/ post-implementation smoke testing.
• Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, or completeness, or to mitigate risks.
• Stay current with industry standards and trends to ensure that the organization's software products meet industry expectations.
• Work remotely against strict deadlines with minimal supervision.

Requirements:
• 2-4 years of proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role
• Experience in project management and QA methodology
• Excellent collaboration, problem-solving, time-management and multitasking skills
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
• Working knowledge of test management software (e.g. Testrail, QTest, Zephyr) and SQL
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be detail-oriented, analytical, deadline-driven, and able to self-manage.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems technology, software engineering or a related field
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing (Desired)
• Certified Manager of Software Quality certification (Desired)
• Familiarity with multiple coding back-end and front-end languages, JavaScript frameworks, and libraries (Desired)
• Familiarity with multiple front-end languages and libraries (Desired)
• Familiar with common stacks, Restful API’s, and databases (e.g., MariaDB, DynamoDB, AWS RDS), web servers (e.g., Nginx), and UI/UX design (Desired)
• Familiar with AWS cloud environment implemented using the IaC approach with Serverless, including but not limited to Appsync, Cognito, Lambda functions, RDS and DynamoDB, VPN connections for the communication with legacy platforms, and CloudWatch for system metrics monitoring, with Node and React JS coding (Desired)
• WordPress experience (Desired)
