Job Description
To monitor manage daily database services like monitoring, analysis, performance tuning fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, etc., and to boost the performance of the existing SQL Server database.
To assist database development teams to design new database programs, that meet the organization’s data storage needs.
To write new support programs and scripts in order to increase data storage capacity.
To monitor database infra system’s health and have to do performance tuning optimization.
Responsible to review database and user reports, as well as system information.
Needs to perform debugging procedures on database scripts, programs and also to resolve conflicts.
To mentor database administrators and offer them technical support.
Needs to offer suggestions for solutions to problem areas.
Should be able to stick to best practices in securely storing, backing up, and archiving data.
Prepare documents related to database design, configuration, and performance.
Need to keep yourself abreast of developments, and best practices in database engineering.
Refine and automate regular processes, document changes, and track issues.
SQL is always on with high availability and disaster recovery options for SQL servers.
Desired Candidate Profile :
Sound knowledge of structured query language.
In-depth knowledge and experience with database technologies, architecture.
Should have deep knowledge in database engineering and data security.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail. Should have exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
