Roles and Responsibilities :
• To monitor manage daily database services like monitoring, analysis, performance tuning fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, etc., and to boost the performance of the existing SQL Server database.
• To assist database development teams to design new database programs, that meet the organization’s data storage needs.
• To write new support programs and scripts in order to increase data storage capacity.
• To monitor database infra system’s health and have to do performance tuning optimization.
• Responsible to review database and user reports, as well as system information.
• Needs to perform debugging procedures on database scripts, programs and also to resolve conflicts.
• To mentor database administrators and offer them technical support.
• Needs to offer suggestions for solutions to problem areas.
• Should be able to stick to best practices in securely storing, backing up, and archiving data.
• Prepare documents related to database design, configuration, and performance.
• Need to keep yourself abreast of developments, and best practices in database engineering.
• Refine and automate regular processes, document changes, and track issues.
• SQL is always on with high availability and disaster recovery options for SQL servers.

• Sound knowledge of structured query language.
• In-depth knowledge and experience with database technologies, architecture.
• Should have deep knowledge in database engineering and data security.
