SQL Database Admin (6-+years) : Hyderabad.
A database administrator (DBA) is responsible for the performance, integrity, migration and security of a database. Additional role requirements include planning, system development and troubleshooting.
Your main responsibilities
• Preparing and Maintaining test/production/development environment Backup database and application source code Installation, configuration, and upgrading of MySQL/MS SQL DB2/ Server software and related products.
• Establish and maintain sound backup recovery policies procedures Take care of the Database design and implementation.
• Implement and maintain database security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges) Creation of Dashboard & Reporting basis the Business Requirement Script Automation to perform database tuning and performance monitoring.
• Experience in scripting to automate routine tasks.
• Automation scripts for Daily Health checks, Service packs, and Security patching for databases Always ON setup, monitoring, and troubleshooting Replication Setup, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
