Location : Kalyan nagar ( Bangalore )
Roles & Responsibility:
Installing and upgrading the database server
Allocating system storage and planning future storage requirements for the database system
Controlling and monitoring user access to the database
Monitoring and optimizing the performance of the database
Controlling user access permissions and privileges
Developing, managing and testing back-up and recovery plans
Ensuring that storage, archiving, back-up and recovery procedures are functioning correctly
Responsible for troubleshooting and problem solving of SQL development
Work on Linux and Unix shell scripting
Years of experience working with MySQL Databases, including the community edition
Advanced understanding of Linux OS
Can use SSH to connect to remote systems with password & public/private keys
Deep understanding of systems performance
Understand automation concept to speed up the work
Advanced knowledge on Inno DB internals
Expert knowledge of Performance Schema
Knows how to optimize queries/schemas
Deep understanding of replication and clustering
Knows backup/recovery solutions and strategies
Knows HA solutions and strategies
Knows proxy usage as it relates to MySQL
Work with Development teams to support new features in a DevOps model
Knowledge of database implementation on cloud such as AWS
Strong automation skills using Python, Perl, Ruby and Bash
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: From ₹60,000.00 per month
