We’re looking for someone with:
• Supports all Client/Server database environments.
• Implements logical data models to physical structures on SQL Server.
• Installs necessary triggers, stored procedures, and business logic.
• Performs database backup and recovery.
• Performs database and application performance/tuning.
• Prepares and manages multiple server environments.
• Provides support and implements migrations across environments.
• Provides technical support for ongoing maintenance and upgrades for all Client/Server related software.
• Provides technical expertise and ongoing education for all Client/Server related software.
• Manages and troubleshoots SQL server in a clustered environment.
• Analyzes technical systems specifications received from project managers and programming associates and translates data into efficient, functional database designs.
• Develops, tests and executes diagnostics and disaster recovery plans in order to safeguard the integrity of the database.
• Analyzes current database information and recommends methods to improve performance of the database.
• Creates databases for building and testing the applications; investigates and corrects problems relative to these databases.
• May provide 24 hour on-call production support.
• Performs related duties as assigned
