Coforge is looking for SQL Server DBA for our Gr. Noida location. Who can join within 30 days.
Experience Level :: 5-10 Years
• This position is a hands-on DBA role responsible for the management of the SQL Server database support across the globe within a matrix support and management model.
• Perform value add proactive work functions as assigned such as environment health checks.
• 07-0+ years of solid technical experience on on-premise/cloud environment MS SQL latest versions & PostgreSQL.
• Assist in the development and implementation of DBA processes, procedures and SOPs for SQL Server Database Systems.
• Have at least 1-2 implementation experience in Azure SQL Server, should be able articulate E2E implementation experience, with customer on-boarding.
• Excellent in writing and optimizing SQL statements, strong T-SQL & PowerShell scripting.
• Development DBA experience, including diagnose of Database performance, health checks and monitoring, well versed with best practices in industry.
• Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases.
• Work with Application Team for Code/Query tuning: adding/removing indexes, rewriting queries for better performance and so on.
• Knowledge of SQL Server maintenance/patching mechanics.
• Logging, managing, and resolving SQL Server SR's with Microsoft Support.
• Experience with Code Migration tools is a plus.
• Administration and troubleshooting of Concurrent Managers
