Job location: Navi Mumbai (Jui Nagar). Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator I whos eager to use and grow his or her technological skills on a worldwide stage. In this role, the successful individual will protect our critical information, systems, and assets, build solutions, implement new software and hardware, provide training, and assist in the development of an overall IT strategy. From early on, youll help empower our breakthrough innovations, be given challenging assignments, lead initiatives, and take ownership and responsibility. Responsibilities: Duties may include owning, tracking, and resolving database related incidents and requests, developing table, views, indexes, and stored procedures utilizing best practices Performing troubleshooting, resolution and root cause analysis for database and application specific incidents Maintaining and enhancing database maintenance routines Profiling and performance tuning new and existing stored procedures Documenting policies, processes, and procedures Support other key initiatives as the business dictates Maintain excellent working relationship with 3rd Party vendors Implement strategies to increase reliability and decrease cost for technologies Implement processes for internal operational effectiveness and continuous improvement Ensure data confidentiality, integrity, and availability Works independently; may require guidance in highly complex situations Supports others to solve complex problems Identifies innovative solutions through sophisticated analytical thinking Requirements: Basic understanding of RDBMS concepts and experience in creating, maintaining and optimizing Tables, Views, Stored Procedures, User Defined Functions using SQL Server, T-SQL Knowledge of database security methods and procedures Understanding of ETL best practices across the enterprise Basic experience with PowerShell and PowerCLI Strong organizational, time management and communication skills Strong technical background and ability to work with engineers, developers, and other key stakeholders Education: Bachelors degree in relevant field preferred 2 years of previous experience in similar role is preferred Relevant industry certificates are preferred
