Role And Responsibilities
We are currently looking for an experienced SQL DBA with expertise in Azure and any one of the following: PostgreSQL, MySQL, Mongo DB, Cosmos DB, or Maria DB. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the performance, security, and reliability of our databases and will work closely with our development and support teams to ensure seamless data operations. Other responsibilities include:
• Managing and maintaining multiple databases across various environments
• Creating and implementing backup and disaster recovery strategies
• Performing database tuning and optimization
• Monitoring database performance and proactively identifying and resolving issues
• Collaborating with developers to design and implement database changes
• Ensuring compliance with data security and privacy regulations
Candidate Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as an SQL DBA
• Expertise in Azure
• Experience with any one of the following: PostgreSQL, MySQL, Mongo DB, Cosmos DB, or Maria DB
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• A bachelor"s degree in computer science or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
Required Skills
The ideal candidate should possess the following technical skills:
• Proficiency in SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
• Expertise in database backup and recovery strategies
• Experience in database tuning and optimization
• Good understanding of database security and privacy regulations
