SQL Server DB Administration
Experience: 3-6 years
Locations: Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Bangalore, Airoli
Primary Skills: SQL server admin
Desired Skills & Responsibilities
SQL Server Installation and configuration
Hands-on knowledge of HA Features (Replication, Log shipping, Always On, Clustering, Mirroring). Good knowledge on troubleshooting on HA related features.
Understanding of WaitStats and Perfmon
Understanding of SQL Profiler and hands-on experience on performance issue troubleshooting
Reorganizing & Rebuild indexes, reclaim space/ Update Stats
Server Monitoring
• Alert, Active Sessions, Jobs, Blocking Session, Server CPU Usage, Memory Usage, Space Availability, Database Availability
Create Users, Profiles and Roles, Grant/Revoke Rights
Kill sessions.
Export object, schema data
Execute Client Provided script on database
Taking Backup
Creating SOP's
Troubleshoot Backup Failures
