Experience:
5 years to 10 years Location: Hyderabad & Bangalore Notice period: Immediate to 30 days. Looking for MS SQL DATA ADMINISTRATOR/ADMINISTRATION. Experience in Installation, Configuration, Maintenance and Administration of SQL Server 2026/2017/2016/2014/2012/2008R2/2008/2005/2000. Resolving Space management issues like Data, log file and disk space issues. Knowledge on Linked servers.
Able to write complex queries to fetch the required data Expert in Backup, Restore, Recovery, Space management, Monitoring, Troubleshooting and Performance tuning, Log Shipping, Replication & Clustering etc.
Install the identified software products at the customer site Check and configure the products based on customer preference Maintain existing database instances, including standalone, virtualized, and clustered environments.
Scheduling and maintaining Jobs, Alerts and Maintenance Plans. Experience in creation of logins, users and configuring permissions and assigning roles to users. Analyzing long running queries and tunes the same to optimize application and system performance. Experience on performance tuning and DB maintenance Responsible for Migrating databases from SQL server 2005 to SQL Server 2008. Planning, administration, and implementation of Log-Shipping on MS SQL Server Databases. Identifying and resolving Blocking, Locking and Index Fragmentation issues by using System Stored Procedures, DBCC and DMVs. Regards, Nikitha Krishnan
