Sr. Accountant, Richmond BC

Provide financial reporting and strategic support to management and cross functional departments:

Prepare period end reports, analysis and reconciliations to support the organization’s monthly and annual financial reporting requirements

Compile multiple entity trial balances and prepare consolidated financial statements in Microsoft Excel

Review, prepare or post journal entries as needed to accurately close our period end

Work closely with cross-functional departments to provide regular reporting and ensure proper coding of expenses and journal entries

Liaise and assist with various financial statement and other audits

Partner with project managers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements with implementation of new systems or enhancement of existing systems;

Continuous improvement of various financial and sales tool systems (IFS, SM1) with enhanced process and procedures recommendations

Work with all stakeholders to drive efficiencies, save costs and challenge the status quo to ensure targets are delivered.

Qualifications:

3 years of progressive work experience in accounting

CPA designation

Positive, can-do attitude

Advanced skill level working with Microsoft Excel, and demonstrated ability working with other Microsoft Office products (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word).

Familiarity with IFS is an asset, but not required

Experienced in preparing consolidated, multi-currency financial statements and notes,

Experienced in full cycle accounting and managing period end close processes,

Ability to effectively communicate in an open and direct manner; detailed orientated and able to convey information clearly and concisely with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to perform multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

This is a hybrid role based out of our Richmond, BC office; and will pay a base salary between $80,000 - $105,000 with a 10% bonus. Thank you for your interest in Natures Path!
