Job Title: Sr Analyst – Data Engineer
Location: Pune
The candidates will design and develop application code, implements technical solutions, and configures applications in different environments in response to business problems. To meet the requirements of the business, the candidates will actively participate in the design and development of the application or its components, propose appropriate solution to use and promotes re-usability of existing components and contribute to the creation of frameworks.
The candidates will be part of the transformation program of the company and key to internalize the knowledge.
The candidate should have deep knowledge of systems and applications under him/her control to define their evolution, evaluate the impact of regulations or new business requirements, manage the changes and collaborate in the analysis and implementation of approved projects. Candidate will also participate in the application maintenance tasks
The candidate will work on Data Repositories applications: DWH – Data Ware House typology based on Oracle and Informatica Power Center as ETL tool, PL-SQL, BI solutions (SAS, Microstrategy)

Your key responsibilities :
• Knowledge internalization
• Functional design, technical design and programming
• New projects, enhancements and maintenance of a specific for a set of applications
• IT Application Life Cycle standards are met in ongoing enhancements and maintenance
• Application changes are aligned with the application strategy
• Identification and management of risk and issues associated with the application
• Maximum operational availability and stability
Your skills and experience:
• The candidates must have demonstrated proficiency in working with global and local teams, managing vendors and/or 3rd parties.
• The candidates will be able to work in a collaborative environment, organized in scrum, therefore scrum master experience or scrum working is desirable
• Degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, IT or similar. Master recommended
• English proficiency required
• Experience and knowledge of banking business and its operations
• Experience in application solutions from technological perspective. Ability to understand key aspects of technical platforms and infrastructure, generate ideas and create effective solutions
• Solid knowledge of software engineering, design patterns and software architecture
• Development background and demonstrated experience as analyst / technical lead
• Experience on analysis of existing systems from high level architecture to application code review
• Experience with technical documentation, architectural diagram, components, flows, use cases
• Demonstrable DevOps-oriented mind-set
• Experience with testing/QA tools
• Person with solid technical knowledge and able to understand complex business processes and workflows
• Teamwork capacity with multidisciplinary teams
• Leadership and communication skills
• Ability to identify risks, resolve conflicts and plan tasks
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of methodologies in applications development (e.g. Agile)
• Experience as scrum master and knowledge about the entire application development life cycle (planning, budget, approval, sourcing, monitoring and implementation) will be a plus
• Development background and demonstrated experience as analyst / technical lead on DWH (Oracle, Informatica Power Center ETL), Unix, FTPs, PL-SQL, BI solutions (SAS, Microstrategy) is a must
• Solid experience on Data modelling and Data Driven analysis, design and programming
