We are excited to recruit on behalf of our client, a dynamic logistics company based in Canada, renowned for its expertise in e-commerce and fulfillment services. Committed to excellence, our client efficiently manages tens of thousands of parcels daily, setting the standard in last-mile delivery and innovative logistics solutions.
We are currently seeking a Sr. Analyst, Logistics with 4-8 years of experience in BI data analysis and automation to join our client’s remote team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a forward-thinking organization while collaborating with a talented Canadian team. Candidates must be available to work during EST office hours.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the creation and documentation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Manage daily operations by analyzing performance data to identify areas for improvement.
• Utilize internal technology systems to support daily functions and streamline operations.
• Apply automation techniques to optimize business processes and workflows.
• Report on performance metrics and collaborate with the Dispatch team to meet supply chain and operational demands.
• Facilitate the onboarding process for new associates and address any issues promptly.
• Drive initiatives focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or a related field from a recognized institution.
• 5+ years of experience in business analytics, data science, software development, data modeling, or data engineering, or a master’s degree in a related field.
• Proficiency in data analysis and business intelligence tools, particularly ERP systems.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, with intermediate skills in Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience with data modeling; familiarity with SharePoint is a plus.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively with offshore teams.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-starter with minimal supervision required; must demonstrate a strong work ethic and independence.
• Strong research and analytical capabilities.
• Proven ability to enhance or innovate processes to optimize operational efficiency.
• Ability to provide quick ad-hoc analysis with actionable insights into business problems.
• Experience in writing and maintaining technical documentation.
• Track performance against SLAs and KPIs.
Technical Setup:
• A reliable desktop or laptop setup with a stable internet connection.
• Availability to work during US/Canada EST office hours.
Nice to Have:
• Background in IT or Computer Science.
• Familiarity with automation tools.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Six Sigma Certification.
Compensation & Benefits:
• Salary range: INR 75,000 – INR 1,00,000 per month, based on qualifications and experience.
• Full-time position focused on Business Intelligence and Transportation Analytics.
