Job Description
As Oracle DBA for GBAM CTO, the candidate will be responsible to manage installation, configuration, upgrade and maintenance of over 2000 oracle databases. She/He will be required to work in partnership with local and global Oracle database team to understand the requirements and deliver on them within deadlines. She/He will need to have strong collaboration skills to work with various stakeholders and address service delivery issues in both lower level and production environments.
Responsibilities.
. Responsible for Database monitoring and investigating problems and developing solutions for related issues
. Responsible database refreshes using RMAN and export and imports (expdp/impdp and exp/imp)
. Responsible for Dataguard implementation and maintenance
. Responsible for troubleshooting performance issues including SQL tuning
. Responsible for understand AWR, ADDM and ASH reports and suggest improvements
. Responsible for identifying OS CPU, Swap, memory and IO issues and suggest improvements
. Responsible for Database Security and availability

. Responsible for Change implementations and blackouts according to Release docs or implementation Plan
. Responsible to work with application team and guide them in proper implementation plan
. Responsible for Object Management at Database level
. Understand the end to end process and come up with ideas to improve, automate or reduce wastage in the environments in turn reducing TCOA (Total Cost of Ownership of Application)
