About the Company:
GoBaskt is a disruptive startup, building a AI powered hyperlocal customer engagement platform that enables businesses (local merchants, national brands) to engage with customers in new and novel ways across multiple channels to enable commerce, marketing & service at scale. We have built an integrated consumer and merchant platform. Our product serves as a direct-to-consumer engagement platform for Retailers and Consumer product cos and provides them an alternative to the likes of Flipkart and Amazon, with a differentiated value proposition. We are early stage, US headquartered, adequately funded and doing our product development from Bangalore, launching customer pilot in US and India in Apr-May 2020. Majority of the founding team (founders, investors, advisors) are from IIT and IIM backgrounds.
About the Role:
Senior Developer, IOS Mobile App will be a hands-on role based out of Bangalore. This role will report into the Director/ Principal Architect, Software Development and work closely with the Chief Product Officer- CPO.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Product managers, UX/UI and Backend teams to design, build and deploy multiple IOS mobile apps.
Take design inputs from product designer and quickly build prototypes, MVP, release versions (major, minor, bug releases) to be deployed in production.
Will monitor usage, performance and error handling/ bugs in IOS apps deployed in production.
Will fix issues in IOS mobile apps, deploy fixes in production.
Required Skills & experience:
2-5 yrs experience developing IOS mobile apps preferably for consumer products in e-commerce, food delivery apps, deal/ coupon apps, other paid services.
Proficient in programming in Objective C, Swift, Cocoa for iOS mobile application development.
Experience with high-performance app design and development with a focus on Memory, App size, CPU usage and Battery usage.
Hands-on experience with debugging IOS mobile apps
Hands on experience on HTML5, CSS, XML, using REST APIs.
Good understanding of UI design principles and developing intuitive & pixel perfect interfaces/ user experiences.
Hands-on experience with setting up & running test automations, A/B experiments, analysis.
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
Strongly prefer experience in building products in startups and early stage companies.
Strongly prefer experience in building apps that scale to 2 million+ daily active users and millions of transactions per day.
