Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Android Developer to join our team. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality Android applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong knowledge of Android SDK, and different versions of Android, and be proficient in Kotlin. Additionally, the candidate should possess a solid understanding of architecture and design patterns and have experience with RESTful APIs, database management, and performance tuning.
Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain high-quality Android applications using Kotlin.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and fix bugs and bottlenecks and improve application performance.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate mobile applications with backend services.
• Follow best practices and coding standards to ensure the delivery of high-quality code.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies related to Android development.
Requirements
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
• Proficiency in Kotlin.
• Solid understanding of architecture and design patterns (MVVM or any other pattern) and native Android development.
• Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
• Experience with offline storage, threading, database management, Firebase, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with the use of version control tools such as Git.
• A good understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
• Experience in developing high-quality Android apps, with Clean Architecture and Android Jetpack
