Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Android Developer with a strong knowledge of Kotlin and Java programming languages. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Android app development, along with experience in developing and maintaining high-performance mobile applications. He/she will be responsible for designing and implementing new features, maintaining, and enhancing existing features, and ensuring the quality of the application.
Responsibilities:
Lead a team of Android developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure that team members are meeting their goals and deadlines.
Design and implement high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code using Kotlin and Java.
Work with 3rd party data sources and APIs to integrate data into the application.
Design and implement Mobile Applications using MVVM, MVP architecture along with the latest architecture components such as Room DB, Live Data, Jetpack, View Model, Jetpack Compose, Work Manager, Services, etc.
Write high-quality, clean, and maintainable code that adheres to best practices and coding standards.
Write Unit Tests and UI tests using Junit, Mockito, and Espresso to ensure the quality of the application.
Understand and implement UI/UX standards and Responsive Design Principles.
Collaborate with the team to identify, design, and implement new features and functionality.
Use code versioning tools such as Git to manage code and collaborate with the team.
Use reactive programming such as RxJava/RxAndroid and Coroutines to improve the performance of the application.
Integrate REST API using JSON, XML, SOAP, etc., and ensure compatibility across different devices.
Mentor junior developers and share knowledge across the team.
Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in Android app development and share knowledge with the team to improve overall capabilities.
Requirements:
Bachelor's/Masters in computer science [B.E/B.Tech, MCA/M.Sc.]
At least 5 - 7 years of experience in Android app development with Kotlin and Java
Proven experience leading and managing teams of Android developers.
Good experience in Kotlin and Java along with competency with industry-standard libraries.
Hands-on experience in the full lifecycle of Android application development processes, methodologies, and best practices.
Proficiency in understanding code versioning tools such as Git.
Experience with other web technologies and UI/UX standards.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
Passion for learning and staying up to date with emerging technologies and trends.

Salary: Up to ₹700,000.00 per year
