Responsibilities

Ï Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code

Ï Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Java/Kotlin code

Ï Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application

Ï Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs

Ï Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

Ï Expertise in Devops and able to write CI/CD pipelines.

Ï Able to write high level architecture of Applications which connect to multiple modules.

Skills

Ï Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes

Ï Strong knowledge of Kotlin/Java.

Ï Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services

Ï Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices

Ï Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning

Ï Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as "touch”

Ï Familiarity with the use of additional sensors, such as gyroscopes and accelerometers

Ï Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks

Ï Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

Ï Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications

Ï A knack for benchmarking and optimization

Ï Understanding of Google's Android design principles and interface guidelines

Ï Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

Ï Familiarity with CI/CD

Ï Familiarity with Hardware Integrations

Ï Proven experience as an BLE and GATT protocol
