We are seeking an experienced Senior AWS Architect to join our team and drive the design, implementation, and optimization of AWS-based solutions for drug discovery. This role involves close collaboration with our R&D teams to enhance scientific research, data analysis, and AI/ML initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design scalable, secure AWS architectures tailored to drug discovery.
• Lead migrations from on-premises to AWS, ensuring smooth integration.
• Architect data solutions for genomics, imaging, and large datasets.
• Deploy HPC environments to support molecular modeling, AI/ML workloads.
• Ensure AWS environments meet compliance (HIPAA, GDPR, GxP).
• Collaborate with data scientists, bioinformaticians, and IT teams.
• Mentor junior team members, drive innovation, and optimize costs.
Qualifications:
• 7-10+ years of cloud architecture experience, with a strong AWS focus.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, Redshift, etc.).
• Expertise in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry, particularly in drug discovery.
• Proficiency in Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional preferred.
