Full job description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in alternative investments, particularly in Private Credit and Private Equity Fund Operations. The ideal candidate will have a development background and solid technical expertise, combined with strong business acumen in capital markets and fund accounting.
This is a client-facing role with a leading global capital markets client, managed through a third-party US-based payroll partner.
Key Responsibilities:
Liaise with global stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for private credit and equity operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including technology, operations, and product to define and implement solutions.
Support fund accounting processes and ensure high accuracy in reporting and reconciliations.
Translate business needs into functional specifications and support the development lifecycle.
Drive agile ceremonies and project delivery using ALM tools.
Perform data analysis using SQL to support business insights and reporting needs.
Ensure stakeholder alignment across geographically distributed teams.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in capital markets, with specific expertise in Private Equity and Private Credit operations.
Strong understanding of fund structures, fixed income, OTC derivatives, and fund accounting processes.
Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and querying.
Hands-on experience with ALM tools such as JIRA, Azure Boards, Rally, etc.
Agile project experience with distributed teams.
Solid communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder management.
Prior technical/development background is mandatory.
