The opportunity:
As a Senior System Administrator with the Directory Services team at OpenText, you will be responsible for the delivering and supporting large-scale Directory Services platforms. You will also work along with a global team to promote best practices and using tools or solutions servicing Domain Name Services, Identity Management, SMTP and related technologies.
The ideal candidate will be a team player, have previous experience of managing a Directory Services for a large organization and a sound understanding of the technologies we support.
You are great at:
Setup, plan, implement and maintain Microsoft Windows server OS.
Setup, plan, implement and maintain Microsoft Active Directory Services.
Setup, plan, implement and maintain services such as WSUS, KMS & NTP.
Experience in managing and maintaining enterprise class DNS solutions.
A solid understanding of industry best practices for Patch Management (Windows and Linux)
Assist in planning and implementation of domain migrations and upgrades.
Provide on-call support on a rotational basis which may include off-hours responsibilities.
Continually enhance skills and knowledge to assist Principal Administrators in solving complex problems which are beyond the scope and skills of the system engineers.
Knowledge on using Infoblox IPAM tool.
What it takes:
Microsoft certifications preferred including Operating Systems: Windows 10, Server 2012, 2016 and 2026, 2026.
Understanding of virtualization and Cloud (VMware, Google Cloud, AWS, etc.)
Understanding of networking concepts (OSI, TCP/IP, Firewall/Routing)
Experience with PowerShell scripting
Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in technology driven environment
Must be able to provide technical representation of issues and ideas in meetings with peers.
Proven ability to manage diverse, simultaneous projects of varying complexities.
Must have working experience with scripting and automation.
Good Knowledge on Linux OS & Red hat satellite Capsules.
