Job Role Brief:
The role requires a future-oriented mind-set to create well-articulated & high value content for targeted customers with the aim of advancing LS brand value in the market. The Content Marketer has the primary duty of overseeing all content marketing initiatives across various platforms. The Senior Content Marketer has a unique blend of writing and editorial skills, technological expertise, and exceptional business acumen. You are extremely familiar with prevalent Consumer Relationship Management (CRMs) measures and with popular selling models such as Challenger. Strong experience and understanding buying personas.
Requisite Skills:
● 5+ years of experience in content marketing and content writing at a mid to large organization
● Creativity to conceive fresh and appealing ideas that support the company's brand identity
● Leadership experience in managing teams of content writers, agencies, freelancers, and other stakeholders
● Experience with social media engagement strategies and best practices
● Strong command over grammar and exceptional attention to detail to ensure high-quality, error-free content
● Quickly grasp complex technical topics and convey them clearly in writing
● Solid understanding of SEO best practices and NLP techniques to effectively optimize content for search engines
● Big picture thinking while capable of diving deep in the details when needed
● Possess excellent organizational skills and be a quick learner, self-driven, independent, highly motivated, and highly organized
● Proven ability to innovate and push
● Adaptable and open to feedback
Good to have:
● Bachelors/Master s degree in communication / advertising / marketing.
● US/International-focused content experience
● Experience in a B2B service-based s/w firm
● Someone who has built and improved complicated processes to achieve common goals involving multiple stakeholders.
Job Duties:
● Strategies the end-to-end content market process from brainstorming on the relevant topic to, consulting with subject matter expert, creative team, content writer, digital marketing team to deliver and publish content across various channels
● Research, analyse, understand the target audience to take our content to the next level - landing pages, blogs, case studies and social media
● Develop and monitor analytics to track what content is working, analyse gaps, and incorporate learning into the content calendar.
● Ensure that every piece of content is optimized to meet user intent, is high-quality and comprehensive, and provides valuable information to the target audience
● Make sure the content marketing efforts are aligned with business goals, drive sales and retention of existing customer base.
● Ensuring content becomes an effective means to acquire, engage and retain users, and generate significant word-of mouth and shareability on social media.
● Create an editorial calendar, delegate tasks, and ensure that deadlines are met.
● Defining strategic goals (Metrics, Targets, OKRs) and monthly/quarterly planning.
● Craft engaging narratives to communicate technical concepts through effective storytelling as needed
● Manage the day-to-day handling of all social media channels such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram, adapting content to suit different channels.
● Define the content marketing quarterly and annual plan along with its budget and resources.
● Hire content writers and engage freelancers and agencies as necessary
