Objectives of This Role:
• Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a high-volume workload often requiring short turnaround times
• Raise the bar continually for writing fresh copy that connects with a desired audience and drives action
• Be adept at varying the voice, style, and other characteristics of messaging based on the brands and their target audience
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest industry trends
• Stay current on the appropriate style guidelines and brand voice for consistent messaging
Key Responsibilities:
• Interpret creative briefs to develop concepts for execution with assigned brands
• Conduct thorough research to ensure content accuracy and relevance
• Develop and write high-quality content for various platforms, including blogs, SEO articles, e-commerce product descriptions, D2C copy, Amazon A+ content, brand store content, CRM communications, performance ads, AV scripts, brand apps, internal communications and more
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand content requirements and deliver engaging copy that aligns with brand guidelines and objectives
• Present copy concepts and final deliverables to internal team and participate in brand pitches
• Revise copy based on internal and stakeholder feedback
• Optimise content for SEO to increase visibility and engagement
• Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, grammar, and consistency
Required Skills and Qualifications
• 5 to 8 years of proven experience in content writing and copywriting, preferably in the fashion and lifestyle industry
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of content types and writing styles
• Excellent command of the English language, with strong grammar and writing skills
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and content optimisation techniques
• Good knowledge of AI tools for content
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proofreading experience and familiarity with standard style guides
• Keen eye for detail and appreciation of great design
• Ability to work with a team to meet deadlines
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
