The Big Picture:
Data Analytics team is looking for a motivated Sr. Data Analyst to assist in improving and creating new dashboards in Tableau, troubleshooting Tableau cluster issues.. The ideal candidate in addition to Tableau will have strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, experience with writing and analyzing SQL queries, and is eager to learn and grow within a data-driven environment.
Specifically, here are some things you'll be working on:
• Collaborate with business teams to create dashboards
• Research and implement new tableau features
• Help with troubleshooting dashboards and tableau cluster issues
• Work toward optimizing existing datasets to maximize workbook performance
• Work on improving DA processes in rolling out and documenting new workbooks
• Gather feedback from users to continuously improve the usability and effectiveness of dashboards and reports
• Promote and adhere to best practices in data visualization, ensuring consistency and usability across all reports.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Tableau features, updates, and industry trends
What are the “must haves” we’re looking for?:
• At least 3 years of experience working with Tableau from extracting data from multiple sources to designing dashboards with large datasets
• Proficiency in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server, including dashboard creation, data blending, and performance optimization.
• Strong experience with SQL for data extraction (presto/trino/bigquery a plus)
• Familiarity with extensions, TabPy and tableaucmd is a plus
• Creative thinker with a passion for data visualization and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• High level of initiative and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Willingness and ability to to work 2:30-11:30pm IST, or overlap at least 4 hours with East Coast U.S. work hours

• Video Call w/ Manager, Reporting & Analytics or Lead Data Analyst (45 minutes)
• Video Call w/ VP of Analytics & Client Reporting (30 minutes)
