Job Description:
Work as part of a team to design, develop, implement and enhance data structures, stored procedures and other relational DB components
Be responsible for infrastructural and application oriented database administration tasks
Guide, train and support application developers, analysts and architects
Take part in database performance tuning and capacity solutions activities
Perform database maintenance activities
Provide support to customers for complex database related issues
Be responsible for technical documentation
All work is conducted in English
Requirements:
• 5+ years as DBA Oracle 11g, 12c
• DB2 and MSSQL - big advantage
• 5+ years of experience with development and production environments
• 5+ years of Oracle performance tuning – AWRs, statistics, query & code tuning, understanding DB engine, index consulting, load handling
• Oracle infrastructure – backups, restores, installations, management, RAC, DB console
• Oracle applications champion - PL/SQL, SQL, work with dev teams
• Linux/Unix – shell scripting, server analysis, infrastructure management
• 5+ years of database design, query optimization & performance tuning
• Knowledge and experience with Unix PA-RISC, Linux & Windows OS
• Ability to efficiently troubleshoot and resolve system issues
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading and writing)
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work directly with customers
• High skills work independently and as a part of a team
• Willingness to travel abroad
