Sr Accountant
About Us
Organicana is a new-age organic food company. We define our mission to promote conscious living & sustainable farming. We are working with farmers and farmers' producer organizations across various states to help them increase income by growing nutrient dense chemical and pesticide free, organic superfoods while building great products for the customers. You will be part of a young and dynamic team and will be working with B2C ecommerce function to help us drive the sales. We are in a growth stage and looking for a person who loves digital marketing, ecommerce, collaborate with various functions to drive sales.
Responsibilities
· Work closely with founders on generating P&L & various financial analysis
· Handling Accounting Function
· Creating Various MIS as per the Management request
· Manage all accounting transactions
· Prepare budget forecasts
· Publish financial statements in time
· Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
· Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
· Ensure timely bank payments
· Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
· Audit financial transactions and documents
· Comply with financial policies and regulations
· Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results
· Following up with clients for payments
· Managing vendor payments
· Payables, Receivables & Payroll processing
Requirements
· 6+ years of proven track record of managing accounting and finance function
· Should be willing to work hard, long and smart to address problems and find solutions across accounting needs.
· Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office products.
· Ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
· Strong communication and negotiations skills.
· Ability to research, compile, analyze ,interpret and gather data.
· Ability to network and find alternative sourcing of funds.
· A team player who collaborates across functions internally and externally.
