Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field
A minimum of 5 years of experience in embedded audio software development
Proven experience with Gstreamer, Pipewire, React or equivalent
Demonstrated understanding of audio signal processing algorithms and techniques
Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices
Solid understanding of the full software development life cycle
Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative, and deadline-driven environment
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical colleagues
Self-motivated and able to work independently, with a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement

Responsibilities
This role will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining audio software applications and systems
The successful candidate will be involved in all phases of the software development life cycle, from initial concept generation to final delivery and support

Design, develop, and integrate cutting-edge audio software systems using Gstreamer, Pipewire, React or equivalent
Develop and maintain software for embedded audio systems
Work closely with the hardware team to ensure seamless integration of embedded software with hardware designs
Debug and resolve software defects and issues
Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle including design, development, testing, code reviews, and maintenance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications and systems
Contribute to the development of project schedules, task and project completion time estimates, and resource plans
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our systems remain current and competitive
