Role
Process engineering and development.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Precision grinding (carbide, CBN and diamond)
Required competent knowledge of diamond wheel for development
Manufacturing process and control plan preparation
Capacity planning based on business plan.
Optimization of cycle time and updating process routes in ERP.
Consumable cost target achievement.
Test and trial of new product development.
Working on improvement project for production pain areas on rejection, rework, high cycle time, inefficient processes etc.
Preparation and updation of manufacturing standards.
Jigs and fixture arrangement & maintenance.
Facility arrangement.
EXPERIENCE
5+ years of experience.
EDUCATION
Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical/ Production Engineering/industrial engineering.
COMPETENCIES / SKILL SET
Experience as a Manufacturing/ tooling Engineer
Grinding machine knowledge
Skill in the field of machining / cutting tools design & application
Good. verbal and written English communication
Hands on in MS office & MS Excel and SAP,
