CORE JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Environmental Services Technician (U) cleans, disinfects, maintains, and calibrates all equipment utilized within the facility. Additionally, the Senior Environmental Services Technician (U) oversees the work of junior staff to ensure compliance with applicable health and waste regulations.
CORE JOB FUNCTIONS
1. Ensures that all biohazard waste is disposed of in the appropriate manner.
2. Confirms that all applicable storage equipment is filled as per protocol.
3. Guarantees that all necessary supplies are stored and retrieved in a timely manner.
4. Refills toilet paper and other paper products in assigned facilities.
5. Delegates cleaning assignments to junior staff.
6. Reports damage or abuse of property, maintenance concerns, and any fire or safety hazards.
7. Oversees the inventory of equipment and supplies in assigned areas.
8. Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.
