Role Overview

The Sr. Executive - Service excellence position is a highly visible role, who will be a part of this energetic team within the Financial Shared Services (FSS). He / She will work with all the towers of the FSS and as well with onshore GPOs to drive the continuous improvement. He / She will be responsible for collating and executing the continuous improvement ideas as well as the testing the solutions.

This position will play an important role in helping to foster a culture of sustainable change through the creation and embedding of LEAN methodology, and the supporting framework, to deliver business transformation. This provides an opportunity to work in cross-functional environment where soft skills come to the fore more often and gives exposure to senior partners, both internal and external.

Core Duties/Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
• Review Continuous Improvement items and ensure alignment to Continuous Improvement framework and global design principles.
• Based on priority progress the continuous improvements ideas through the development lifecycle including feasibility assessment, testing of potential solutions, identification and sign off of the optimal solution, user acceptance testing, process documentation, training and implementation.
• Work on system configuration related items with the Workday Support team.
• Provide support for Workday Roadmap testing- R1 & R2
• Drive productivity and process improvement projects aligned with business initiatives.
• Benchmarking analysis & global best practices to be implemented across functions in FSS by working closely with Workday community & Hackett.
• Create project plans, define project timelines, ensure completion and planned results are achieved.
• Drive process improvements and strengthen controls across FSS.
• Create monthly KPI for the Service Excellence and the entire FSSC.
• Drive Cross-functional training & refresher training. Create content on demand for training.
• Collaborate with functional leads in identifying business challenges and work with them in arriving at ideal solutions.
• Act on feedback from various stakeholders/channels.
• PEX Reporting – Productivity commitment, Business impact delivery, Monthly management review
• Collaborate with LPO's & GPO's and maintain good relationships with them.
• Ensure that all working practices follow the Equiniti standard policies and procedures, including health & safety and equal opportunities.
• Ability to understand the detail behind processes & system configuration.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

Required Skills: (Mandatory)
• Prior experience of working in an offshore Finance SSC
• Excellent accounting knowledge across the functions
• Prior Workday knowledge and experience is preferable
• Strong in MS PowerPoint (Advanced)
• Team player with good networking skills
• Good analytical skill
• Fluent in English and strong communication skills

Desired Skills:
• Basic Knowledge of Quality Management
• Certification in Lean Six Sigma (YB) or (GB)
• Excellent organisational, communication and planning skills
• Adaptable with an ability to change direction and priorities if required
• Ability to work well with people across the organisation
• Continuously learns and improves from experience and shares this with others.
• Involves and leverages knowledge of others in decision making and problem solving

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
• Any bachelor's degree should possess strong accounting knowledge.
• Master's degree in Business Administration is added advantage.
• Overall work experience of 5 to 7 years in the relevant field.
• Certification in Lean Six Sigma (YB) or (GB)
