Sustainability, social equality and the environment are now business problems. And corporate leaders can’t depend on governments to solve them. Inspired by this philosophy of Peter Senge, a group of young corporate professionals came together in 2002 to set up Smile Foundation to work with grassroots initiatives for effecting positive changes in the lives of underprivileged children, their families and communities.
Today, Smile Foundation is directly benefiting over 1.5 million children and families through more than 400 welfare projects on education, healthcare, livelihood, and women empowerment spread across 2,000 villages and urban slums in 25 states, every year.
Job Summary
Smile Foundation’s Child for Child (CFC) program addresses children from well to do families who go to good schools and sensitizes them at an early age about the disparity that exists between them and others who cannot afford to go to school. We welcome applications from dynamic people who are willing to travel and conduct CFC programs in educational institutions in their areas.
Job Description
• To built, manage & lead the team as a role model with respect, humbleness, honesty, sincerity, punctuality & hard work.
• To raise voluntary donations from schools, colleges & Institutions.
• To manage & own the responsibility of given targets
• To travel extensively with the teams in different cities across the region.
• To maintain and nurture the relationship with Schools, Authorities and Institutions.
• Maintain close liaison with various educational alliances/institutions/departments;
• To ensure achievements of the laid work plans and targets both quantitative and qualitatively
• To monitor and review daily/weekly/monthly performances to achieve the set targets.
• To research, analyze and evaluate the competitive market environment
Experience
• A minimum of 8 – 10 years of experience in school fundraising preferably or in business development/ sales/ marketing
• Experience or knowledge of the voluntary sector, especially in school fund raising
Skills
• Organizational skills, Proven administrative skills
• Strong ability to network and strengthen relationship with stakeholder.
• A self-starting team leader with the strong ability to motivate and manage a successful team
• Innovative thinker able to demonstrate flair and creativity.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communications.
• Computer Proficiency in Excel is a must
