We are seeking a Senior Fashion Designer with expertise in designing lehenga and sarees to join our in-house team in Surat (Kadodara). The ideal candidate should have a strong creative vision, technical knowledge, and experience in ethnic wear.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop innovative lehenga and saree collections based on market trends.
• Work on fabric selection, embroidery, embellishments, and detailing to enhance designs.
• Oversee the entire design process from concept to production.
• Collaborate with merchandisers, production teams, and artisans to ensure quality output.
• Keep up with the latest fashion trends and implement new ideas.
• Work on custom orders and special collections as per client requirements.
• Conduct fittings and make necessary alterations to achieve perfect designs.
Requirements:
• 3-5+ years of experience in designing lehenga and sarees.
• Qualification: Graduate from NIFT or a reputed fashion institute.
• Strong understanding of fabrics, embroidery, and textile techniques.
• Proficiency in design software like Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, or CAD.
• Good sketching and visualization skills.
• Preference for candidates from Surat or nearby locations.
