We are looking for a Senior Firmware developer, expertise in Linux OS. He/She should work as a Lead Developer, technical resource, and mentor to junior developers.
Responsibilities
Mandatory Skills
• Programming in Embedded C & GNU toolchain
• Practical knowledge of ARM Cortex-A architecture.
• Excellent knowledge of Linux Kernel & device drivers’ architecture. At least 5 years experience in cross-compilation & porting of Linux Kernel & relevant drivers on embedded devices. Practical knowledge of kernel space device driver’s development.
• Knowledge of basic protocols like SPI, I2C, UART, Ethernet, USB, etc.
• Theoretical & practical knowledge of TCP/IP protocol over Ethernet & WiFi.
• Unit and Integration testing, performance measurement, Debugging and analysis of the assigned issues, Re-engineering of existing code for reuse with required modifications and associated unit/integration testing & Activities associated with white box testing, unit testing.
Qualifications
• Must have an excellent understanding of Linux Kernel development & experience of working with global teams.
• Familiarity with version management tools like SVN or Git and Bug / Defects tracking systems.
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills as well as good presentation skills.
• Bachelors / Master’s degree in Electronics / Electronics & Telecommunication / Computer Science/IT with relevant experience of 5 to 8 years in Linux Kernel development
